How to use the @ feature to contact a member

In your Dashboard, Click on the group you would like to contact a member in.

To have a notification sent to someone's email directly, type in the @ sign and the member's username and type your message.

If you want to notify the whole group use the @group function, and your message will be sent to all members in the group.
